Embossed Butterfly Notepad…

by michelle on March 2, 2012

The minute I opened my Stampin’ Up! This is my version (i’m sorry I can’t show you the brochure image, but have a look at the brochure on the side ), I have used the Fresh Vintage Stamp set to emboss on the Butterfly on soooooo many projects,  I just love it, I hope you do too…

Bye for now.

Decorated Candle Boxes…

by michelle on March 1, 2012

If you follow my blog you will be aware that I love giving goods ‘my craft touch’ and these candle boxes are no exception. I buy these gorgeous candles in Bali, and luckily for me they come in a plain kraft… or should I say crumb cake… box ready for my Stampin’ Up! touch.

I use a 1-3/4 circle punch to create a ‘window’ and a you can see from the picture I have used  a variety of Designer Series Paper to decorate, I will add a sentiment when I am ready to gift them.

I hope you like…. any questions, just ask :)

Flirtatious Kindle Cover…

by michelle on March 1, 2012

I just popped in to show you this very special project. One of my fellow demonstrators is having a health issue and will be spending quite a bit of time in hospital, so myself and a few other demonstrators from our team decided that a Kindle Reader topped off with a special handmade ‘Stampin’ Up! Style’ cover would be the perfect gift

I have been itching to make one of these for a while after seeing it on the chic ‘n scratch blog, so I couldn’t wait to make it. The recipient is into butterflies & bows, so I thought the Stampin’ Up! Flirtatious fabric would be perfect for the cover & used Stampin’ Up! fabric adhesive to attach a die cut butterfly from our Beautiful Butterflies Die, I was very happy with the result and so was the recipient.

I loved it so much that I made myself one the next night using the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Portrait fabric…did you really expect, me not too…LOL…

I love our Stampin’ Up! fabric, it’s the best quality, really nice to work with, the 3 fat quartes coordinate perfectly…AND you can make a card to match your gift.

Spiced Paisley Notebook…

by michelle on February 8, 2012

I thought I would share a gorgeous notebook with you today, firstly I must apologise for using a couple of products that are no longer available, the spiral punch and the larger sized notebook, we only have the smaller version  of this notebook available in our current catalogue, I bought a heap of the larger size when the retired list came out.

Apart from the fabric, I have used every product on Pages 10 & 11 of the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalogue, these items are only available until March 31st. To cover the front of my notebook I used Pool Party cardstock with Spiced Cake Designer Series Paper and I just love it, I love the Spice Cake colour palette and of course Paisley Patterns never go out of fashion, a little bit of trim with the Velvet ribbon and I hope you noticed that I embellished the Spice Cake button using the 1-3/8″ circle punch (it just fits perfect).

To further embellish I have used the medium sizzlit dies Timeless Type Junior Alphabet, & oooops, another retired product the Hearts & Brackets die… I think the moral of this post is “if you see something you like in our catalogues, get it while you can”….LOL…

That’s all for now, I am posting this on my little laptop while I am working away with my day job (on a very slow internet connection), if you want the details of any of the products, just send me an e-mail on the link at the bottom of this post.

Beautiful Butterfly…Just Add Glitter….

by michelle on January 28, 2012

OK, sorry it took so long to actually post project photos instead of the promotion stuff that I have been showing you lately, the reason it took so long is because I am really unhappy with my ‘photography skills’ and I have been trying to fix that, but I think I need a bit more help, so I bit the bullet and took my photos the way I normally do. Obviously I only see how the colour and shadows look on my screen and I only hope they look ‘better’ on yours, I bought a fantastic lightbox so that I could take my photos at any time of day, but the light is so bright that it makes my camera compensate by greying the photo a bit and this gives me my shadows and darkness in the back :( anyhoo… a friend of my hubby’s told me the settings I needed to change on my camera to fix the grey, but I forgot and I’ve been trying to work it out for the last couple of days (to no avail).

Do you sometimes have that problem in your life… “Jack of all Trades, Master of None”, when it comes to completing a project… particularly when it involves a computer… it takes you 10 times longer than it should, that’s me with my blog, so remember that when you are reading…

Back to the card, if you have already feasted your eyes on the fabulous Stampin’ Up! sale-a-bration brochure (it’s over on the right if you haven’t) you will have seen a gorgeous decorated notebook using the FREE Stamp Sets, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and Brads that are available during this promotion. I think the first thing every demonstrator did was copy this project in some form or another… I am no exception… I made an ‘almost replica’ note book and will post that photo later, but the photos I have posted today are from a project we made during a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get together (we love to get together to craft, I was up until 2.30am this morning crafting, my hubby thinks i’m mad)

My upline Sarah Klass designed this card using the Bigz Scallop Square Die, we used a folded piece of cardstock and instead of completely covering the square, you move it over so that it gives you a folded edge and voila ‘a card’, we also adhered some of the sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper to the cardstock before running it through the Bigshot. This is not the card I made on the day, this is one I made later with a Glimmer Butterfly instead, I have been colouring my Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper since I got it (from P13 the Summer Mini Catalogue) but I got a great tip (we call them Workshop WOW’s because at the end everyone always says “WOW”)…LOL… from one of the other demonstrators Tracey Wilson, Tracey’s tip was to use Isopropyl in my Stampin’ Up! Aqua Painter instead of water for the colouring as it dries quicker and this in turn stops your Glimmer paper from seperating when it gets too wet. This butterfly was coloured using Pool Party and Poppy Parade from the Stampin’ Up! in-colour range as it co-ordinates with the sale-a-bration items

I think I have talked enough for this fine day, i’d love to hear what you think of this project.

Sale-a-bration item images…

by michelle on January 24, 2012

Here is a quick preview of the sale-a-bration items. I posted photos over on my Facebook Page last night, but incase you don’t visit my page (but please do AND hit the ‘Like’ button) I thought I would show them here too. You can choose from 4 Stamp Sets, a pack of Designer Series Paper or a co-ordinating Ribbon and Brad Pack. The sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper and the Ribbon and Brad Pack are designed to co-ordinate with the following colours:

The Fresh Vintage Stamp Set is MY favourite (then closely followed by the DSP, Ribbon and Brads), for all stamp sets you can choose either Wood-Mount or Clear Mount.

I can see lots of girlie cards being made with this delightful Sprinkled Expressions Stamp Set.

The Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper is just BEAUTIFUL, it gives a touch of class to your finished projects.

If you get the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper then you must have the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack to complete your co-ordinated products

One can never have enough greeting sets in their stash (I never part with my greeting sets, hmm, I never part with any of my stamp sets…LOL…), and the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set is a ‘must have’ for future projects (Thank You, Valentines Day, Anniversaries and Birthdays just for starters)

Elegance is the right word for the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set, designed to team up with our Curly Label Punch I can see this set being the ‘go to’ set for quick cards, all card makers know we very rarely make our cards in advance…LOL… always rushing around at the last minute.

So, what do YOU need to do to get your hands on one or all six of these gorgeous freebies? place an order of $100 or more, for every $100 in sales you get to choose one of these items, and there are no limits, you also get to choose a seventh if your order is $600 or more (that amounts to seven free sale-a-bration items) AND you also get the hostess benefits (for example a $600 order gives you $100 in hostess dollars to spend on any item from the catalogue PLUS around $175 worth of sale-a-bration stamp sets, DSP or Ribbon and Brads.

If you wish to receive e-mail updates of my posts, just click on the subscribe button on the top right of the sidebar, you can also Join My Mailing list to receive my newsletter.

I can take orders from anywhere in Australia and have it shipped directly from the Stampin’ Up! Warehouse to your door. Shipping costs are $5.95 or 5% of your order, whichever is greater.

The Stampin’ Up! Simply Sent Card Kits are an ideal choice for the beginner crafter as they offer a variety of basic themes that can easily be used to make a card for any occasion.

Each Simply Sent Kit contains co-ordinating products and envelopes to make 8 cards (these are the consumable part of the kit). Each kit has a recommended co-ordinating stamp set which can be purchased separately, you will also require an ink pad to stamp your sentiment (these are the ‘tools’ required to complete your cards and can be used over and over again on other products and projects).

The images below show each kit and it’s co-ordinating stamp set together with a completed sample card from each kit. Further down the post I have provided a choice of bundles for you to choose from, just click the ‘Buy It Now’ button pay by Paypal or your credit card and I will place an order for your goods and have them shipped directly to your door. Should you wish to amend the bundle or change the ink pad colour please send an e-mail to michelle@ministamper.com with the details and I will amend your purchase and send you an updated Paypal Invoice, if you are only changing the ink pad colour,  you can put a note to seller advising the colour change, as the price does not change. Ink Pad choices can be viewed on Pages 120-124 of the Catalogue, click HERE to view our colours.

All orders are shipped directly to your door and generally arrive between 7-10 days (less if you are on the East Coast). please note: I can only ship orders to addresses within Australia.
